Lynn Garrett

Private services for Lynn E. Garrett, 92, of Joshua, will be held at a later date.

Lynn passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at his home. He was born to Rufus Wesley and Bessie Fay Hunt Garrett on November 14, 1930, in Fort Worth, Texas. Lynn married Monnie Nell Trammell in 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas. She preceded him in death on November 10, 2017. Lynn worked as a Supervisor with Tandy Wire & Cable of Fort Worth for many years. He was of Christian faith. Lynn was a well-liked man, known as a gracious host and possessing a giving heart. He also had a feisty spirit and believed in doing things his way. Lynn enjoyed being in his yard, welding and playing computer games. His strong will and independent nature will be missed greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and siblings, Joe Garrett, Sonny Garrett, Durwood Garrett, Donald Garrett, Katheline Row, Ruby Brooks, and Marie Garrett.

Survivors include his son, Robert Garrett; grandson, Robert Garrett, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and family members.
