Mable Bigham

Services for Mable Ruth Hardin Bigham, 105, of Keene, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 30, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Pastor Roy Gee officiating. Burial to follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, September 29, 2023 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Doug Bigham, Monnie Bigham, Marvin Jones, Barry Mayse, Josh Bigham, Aaron Bigham, and Justin Lee.

Mrs. Bigham passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, in Keene. She was born August 12, 1918 in Sand Flat, Texas to Samuel and Annie Elizabeth Boyd Hardin. Mable married Wright Bigham on March 14, 1936 in Covington. She was a member of Field Street Baptist Church. Mable worked as a seamstress. She loved enjoying a hot cup of coffee along with traveling and exercising. Mable will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Fowler; daughters-in-law, Judy Bigham and Betsy Bigham; grandchildren, Doug Bigham and wife, Debbie, Monnie Bigham and wife, Cindy, Rhonda Jones and husband, Marvin, Laura Mayse and husband, Barry, Josh Bigham and wife, Kim, Aaron Bigham and wife, Rachael, and Lacey Bandy; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Bigham was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Wright Bigham; 7 siblings; sons, Sam Bigham, Wayne Bigham, and Byron Bigham; and daughter-in-law, Betty Bigham.
