Services for Mabline Wells, 77, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 17, 2021, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Keith Whitt and Pastor Diann Prescher to officiate. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, July 16, 2021, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Army Specialist Garrett Kent Wells, Michael Campbell, James Hill III, James Hill IV, Kevin Davis, Brian Davis, Ricky Prescher, and Marcus Villanueva. Honorary Pallbearer is Kelly Rae Carlock.
Mabline Wells passed away July 12, 2021, in Cleburne. She was born September 3, 1943, in Grandview, to Roy Anderson Tribble and Sarah Ruth (Stanley) Tribble. Mabline married Howard Kent Wells on October 3, 1959, in Whitney. She was a member of North Cleburne Baptist Church for 30 years where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mabline was owner and operator of Great Looks Beauty Salon for 20 years.
Mabline is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Villanueva and husband Noe of Joshua; son, Jason Kent Wells of Hico; grandchildren, Sarah Wells Carlock and fiancé James Hill III, Army Specialist Garrett Kent Wells and wife Elaina, Morgan Jade Wells, Marcus Villanueva and wife Cheryl, Melissa Campbell and husband Michael; great-grandchildren, Kelly Rae Carlock, Tyler Villanueva, Dylan Campbell, Jordan Campbell, James Hill IV, Abigail Hill, Aubrey Hill, Angela Carter; sister, Wanda May Peck of Cleburne; Brothers & Sisters in-law, Margaret Wells, Kenneth and Vanice Wells, Frank and Lucille Briscoe; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Kent Wells; brothers, Wallace Stanley Tribble, David Horton Tribble; sisters, Maurine Fought, Margie Nell Northern, Genieva Ruth Tribble and, twin, Alline Davis.
The family would like to thank Santa Fe Trails for the way they treated our mother and sister with kindness, dignity, and love during the years she was a member of their extended family.
