Service for Makenzi Faye Johnson, 8, of Whitney will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Whitney First Church of the Nazarene in Whitney. Pastor Greg Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery in Hill County. Pallbearers will be Daniel Johnson, Jason Hadley, Donnie Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Bobby Richardson and Kevin Richardson. Honorary pallbearers will be James Shelby, Julian Johnson, Blaine Johnson and Hunter Hadley. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Makenzi Faye Johnson passed away Thursday, Mar. 23, 2017 in Whitney. She was born May 16, 2008 in Hillsboro to Joshua William and Heather Marie Richardson Johnson. Makenzi was an elementary school student.
Survivors include her parents, Joshua and Heather Johnson of Whitney; two siblings, Alyssa Johnson and Daniel Johnson, both of Whitney; maternal grandparents, Kevin Richardson of Euless and Lorrie Marlin of Whitney; paternal grandparents, Brenda Shelby and husband James of Alvarado and Donald Johnson and wife Deborah of Abilene; maternal great grandmother, Annie Morales of Whitney; maternal great grandfathers, Ronny Marlin and wife Jody of Alvarado and Bobby Richardson of Whitney; paternal great grandmother, Rebecca Spradlin of Alvarado; paternal great grandparents, Delbert and Betty Johnson of Burleson; aunts and uncles, Regina and Jason Hadley of Joshua, Donnie and Amber Johnson of Keene, Stormy Johnson of Alvarado, Cherri Phillips of Whitney and Sonya and Scott Davis of Crowley. She was preceded in death by great grandfathers, William “Bill” Spradlin and James Chester Morales; uncle, Randy Wayne Richardson and great uncle, Kent Eugene Richardson.
