Graveside service for Malcolm L. Johnson, 91, of Fort Worth, Texas will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in Grandview Cemetery, Grandview, Texas. Chaplain Stephen Schwartz will officiate.
Malcolm passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, in Fort Worth. He was born October 7, 1931, in Los Angeles, Texas to Sam and Alta Bess (Goatz) Johnson. He married Lynne Johnson on May 3, 2008, in Grandview. Malcolm was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church in Grandview. Malcolm served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. He worked as a Hospital Administrator for several hospitals throughout Texas and California. He was a member of countless civic clubs and organizations when working, and truly believed in serving the communities he lived and worked in. Malcolm was the “alpha” and very devoted to his family. Farming was his passion, especially with cattle. His many life lessons will be remembered for generations to follow.
Malcolm was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Jane who passed away in 2002; and son, Gary Gene Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Lynne Johnson; sons and daughters-in-law, Guy Neil Johnson and Brenda, and Les Glen Johnson and Trish; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Sammy Ray Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
