Marc Pettit

Service for Marc Calvin Pettit, 57, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the Nolan River Road Baptist Church. The Reverend Larry York will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rob Klint, David Schrader, Carl Bell, Rick Urbanovsky, Marty Kelley, and Bobby Sewell. Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Boulden.

Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.

Marc Calvin Pettit passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Cleburne. He was born October 29, 1956 to Calvin Lafayette and Ella Lou Pettit. He married Lorraine Gay Robertson on July 26, 2002 in Ellis County.

Mr. Pettit worked as a mechanic in the oil field industry. His first love was the Lord, and then family and friends. He also loved motorcycles and enjoyed riding very much. He was a member of Nolan River Road Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gay Pettit; children, Robert Pettit and Misty Wheeler, Tyler Pettit, and Nathan Strange; mother, Lou Pettit-McDaniel; grandson, Keagan Pettit; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Pettit; and a sister, Margaret Cushman.
