Marceal Smith

Services for Marceal Smith, 85, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charles Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Kelley, Steve Kimbro, Barney Williamson, Jimmy Stanley, D.J. Smith, Shane Smith, Riley Sharp and Clay Phillips.

Marceal Smith passed away Sunday, July 16, 2006 in Keene. She was born June 3, 1921 in Cleburne to George Keesee and Ida Wesson Keesee. She married Woodrow W. Smith in 1943.

Mrs. Smith was a retired electronic assembler working for Rangaire Manufacturer for 10 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Marceal Smith is survived by her daughters, Barbara Bowles of Cleburne and Carolyn Williamson of Taylor, Texas; sister, Neva Blakley of Clifton, TX; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. Smith in 1965; sons, Woody F. Smith in 2003 and Johnny W. Smith in 1992; daughter, Linda Collins in 1997; brothers, Cecil Keesee, Melvin Barnett, Narvel Keesee and Bill Barnett; sisters, Vera Mae Wesson and Levada Edwards.
