Service for Marcelino O. Torres, 77, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Biggs, Rolando Montalvo, Joe Alvarado, Jaime Martinez, Gonzo Gonzales, Dustin Torres, Coleman Barney and Gonzo Gonzales, III. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Marcelino O. Torres passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016 in Cleburne. He was born April 26, 1939 in Tampico, Mexico to Thomas and Juana Orta Torres. He married Cecilia Chavez on Sept. 2, 1964 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico.
Mr. Torres was an electrician and a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and a friend to many. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Cecilia Torres of Cleburne; sons, Juan Torres of Euless, Miguel Torres and wife Janette of Irving, Raul Torres of Dallas, Daniel Torres and wife Ginger of Cleburne and Christopher Torres of Ft. Worth; daughters, Patsy Gonzales and husband Gonzo, Jr. of Haltom City, Diana Torres and Jaime Martinez of Ft. Worth, Michelle Alvarado and husband Joe of San Antonio, Juana Torres and Rolando Montalvo of Haslett and Cristina Biggs and husband David of Keller; grandchildren, Francheska, Gonzo III, Courtney, Cecilia, Coleman, Christian, John Anthony, Jade, Jaime Jr., Dustin, Dalton, Hailie, Chloe, Connor, Joe, Alejandro, Camila, and Cali; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Noel, and Amelia; numerous nieces and nephews in Tampico, Mexico.; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.
