Marcella Ann Vassar

Service for Marcella Ann Vassar, 77, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 4, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby McDowell, Steven Cogdill, Coy Cogdill, Devin Ballard, Austyn Cogdill and Kaylee Cogdill. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Marcella Ann Vassar passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 in Cleburne. She was born July 22, 1940 in Fort Worth to Thomas Calvin and Lena Mae Francis Joiner Williams.

Ms. Vassar was a retired hospital housekeeping supervisor.

Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Garcia and husband Salvador of Cleburne; sons, Butch Vassar and wife Jennie of Keene; grandsons, Coy and Stephen Cogdill; granddaughters, Lena and Amber Vassar; and grandsons, Mark, Justin, and Angel; numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a brother, Thomas Calvin Williams of Quitman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Gene Vassar in 2002; son, Jimmy Lee Vassar in 1996; and two brothers, Donald Ray Williams and Billy Williams.
