Marcia Bottke

Services for Marcia Arlene Bottke, 84, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Schenevus Cemetery in Schenevus, NY.


Marcia A. Bottke passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born July 10, 1924 in Schenevus, NY to Earl and Helen Grace Hall Wilsey. She married Edmund Bottke on September 3, 1977.

Mrs. Bottke is survived by her husband, Edmund Bottke of Rio Vista; sons, Joe Cooper and wife, Barbara of Watauga and Mike Cooper and wife, Barbara of Clear Lake; daughter, Marcia Thompson and husband, Grady of North Richland Hills; granddaughters, Carolyn Sue Cooper Karow and husband, Dan of Howard Beach, NY, Elizabeth Cooper, Stacy Cooper and Jennifer Thompson; grandson, Brian Thompson; great-granddaughter, Mary Ayla; brother, Earl Wilsey and wife, Doris; sister, Rosalie Barnes and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Avery H. Cooper, Jr. and her sister, Anna Hughes.
