Margaret Anderson

Margaret Erle Roberts Anderson, 87, of Cleburne, TX graduated to Eternity on Friday, May 17, 2013 in Weatherford, Texas. She was born to George William and Martha Lillian Wilson Roberts on February 16, 1926 in Bland, Texas. On March 10, 1944 she married her high school sweetheart, Harvey A. Anderson, Jr. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church, Cleburne.

Marge was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She loved nature and spending countless hours in her kitchen. It was there she could be found cooking, doing hand work, watching old westerns, hosting loved ones, reading her Bible, and praying to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her most admired trait was her quick wit and authentic nature. One had no need to wonder where they stood with Marge. Her iron will and giving spirit will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, George Wilson Roberts; and sister, Billie Kathryn Roberts Turner.

She is survived by her children, Tracy William Anderson, Tony Kent Anderson, Terree Anderson, and Twain Anderson Bonath and son-in-law, Keane; grandchildren, Lucy Gates, Ronald Byron Spears, Kimberly Dawn Spangler and husband Carl, Harvey Tanner Spears and wife Holly, and Preston Tyler Spears; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
