Margaret Ard

Margaret Gail Ard, beloved wife of Howard Ard and treasured mother, grandma, and sister, went to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 11, 2006. Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006, at Southwest Family Church at 414 N. Main, Cleburne. Pastor Steve Dill will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ard was born January 14, 1942, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Martin W. and Stella M. Glover Parish. She married Howard Ard on August 3, 1962, at the First Baptist Church in Aledo, Texas.
Mrs. Ard was a devoted homemaker and a charter member of Southwest Family Church.

Margaret Gail Ard is survived by her husband Howard Ard of Grandview; son, Martin Ard and wife Tiffany of Alvarado; daughter, Katheleen Lee and husband Kevin of Rio Vista; daughter, Beverly Turner and husband Jaffe of Rio Vista; son, Darrin Ard of Gail, Texas; grandchildren, Kody Parkis, Richard Ard, Savannah Ard, Kelsey Parkis, and one grandchild on the way, and five step-grandchildren, Whitnie, Garrett, Jasper, Noah and Fischer Lee; brother, Harold Ray Parish and wife Gwen; sister, Dorothy Morgan and husband J.C.; sister, Barbara Roberts and husband Dan; brother, Jerald Parish; sister-in-law, Barbara Parish; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Julie Renee Ard, her parents, and brothers, Thomas Parish and Donnie Parish.
Pallbearers will be Michael Parish, David Parish, Reggie Baker, Eugene Roberts, Curtis Skiles, Clay Ard, Chris Parish and Donnie Adair. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Adair and Lewis Ard.
