Margaret Crane

Graveside services for Margaret Crane, 88, of Keene, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2007 in the Keene Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be David Crane, Chuck Crane, Justin Crane, Heath Crane, Mike Whitehead, Kasey Maxwell and Kris Maxwell.
Margaret Crane passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2007 in Ennis. She was born November 11, 1918 in Keene to Noah and Emma Nelson Anderton. She married William M. Crane on April 13, 1935.
Mrs. Crane worked for many years at Brandom Kitchens in Keene and was a member of Keene Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Margaret Crane is survived by her daughters, Margie Hefner and husband Lloyd of Ennis, Aurora Ross of Delta, Colorado and Gene Whitehead of Alvarado; sons, Charles Crane and wife Pat of Rendon and Karl Crane of Alvarado; sister McKenzie Dey; step-daughters, Mable Nelson of Fairoaks, CA and Alice Schultz of Ring Gold, GA; step-son, William Crane of Abilene,TX;11 grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; a number of great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Virgil Reid, husband, William Maurice Crane and son, Ernest Edward Crane.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
