Graveside services for Margaret Anne Reynolds, 89, of Grandview, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 6, 2010 in the Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 A.M. at the funeral home, prior to graveside services. Memorials may be made to the givers' charity of choice.

Mrs. Reynolds passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010 in Grandview. She was born to Duncan and Jemima Nelson Wardrope McDonald on June 29, 1921 in Sacramento, California. She married Thomas Henry (Tex) Reynolds, Jr. on September 8, 1944 in California. Margaret has been a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Itasca for over 20 years. She served as a nurse during World War II in the United States Navy. Margaret retired as nursing supervisor with Johnson County Hospital in 1986. She was a member of the Sew and Sews, The Garden Club, White Hat Society and Johnson County Charlois Association. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandchild, Keegan; brothers, Edwin and George; and sister, Donna. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.


Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Knox; sons, Thomas Henry Reynolds, III and his wife, Kay and Philip Howard Reynolds; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
