Margie Curlee

Service for Margie Lu Curlee, 85, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Keith Whitt and Reverend Bob Massey will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Margie Lu Curlee passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 in Ft. Worth. She was born March 29, 1929 in Alvarado to Robert Paul and Willie Mae Waddell McLeroy. She married Curtis Curlee on May 25, 1973 in Sand Flat.

Mrs. Curlee was a financial secretary, retiring from Johns Manville Corp. and an active member of North Cleburne Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis Curlee; sons, Larry Wayne Combs and wife Sue and Robert Paul Combs; stepson Curtis David Curlee and wife Glenda; sister Janice Holder and husband Phillip; grandchildren, Christian Lee Combs and wife Robin, and Lori Sue Boggs; great grandchildren, Joshua Boggs, Caleb Boggs, Caitlyn Combs, and Austin Combs; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Willie Paul Richardson.
