Margie Marie (Hayes) Jeter

Graveside service for Margie Marie (Hayes) Jeter, 91, of Cleburne, will be held in Rosehill Cemetery, at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 20, 2024 with Chaplain Eddy Carrell officiating.

Margie passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, in Cleburne. She was born April 9, 1933, in Marshall, Texas to George Thomas and Ivia Lee (Shepard) Hayes. Margie married William Parker Jeter on December 22, 1949. They shared 27 beautiful years together before his passing. She was a devoted Christian. Her love for her Lord and family ran deep. Her professional career led to work as a meat processor for Kroger after business school. She loved to cook and could cook it all. Margie's warm presence, culinary talent, and devotion to family will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Survivors include her children, Brenda Green and her husband, Jim, and Deborah Dale and her husband, Donald; grandchildren, Daphnne Dale & Bill, Vanessa Dale Jackson & Ross, Dr. Carissa Dale-Williams & Kelly, and April Goff; great-grandchildren, Lincoln & Lilah Kolhagen, and Walker Dale Jackson; brother, Hughie P. Hayes & Minnie Van; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Arthur Franklin Hayes; son, William Marcus Jeter; and grandson, Matthew Jared Green.
