Marguerite Young

Services for Marguerite Elizabeth Young, 90, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20,2006 in The Holy Comforter Episcopal Church. Father Stephen Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Cleburne Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dwight Mullen, Robert Anderson, Bud Snead, Will Snead, John Young and Jimmy Young, Jr.

Marguerite Young passed away Friday, December 15, 2006 in Cleburne. She was born April 4, 1916 in Cleburne to Benjamin and Rosalie Godbold Dowdy. She married Clyde Young on May 26, 1935 in Cleburne.
Mrs. Young retired from Cleburne National Bank, as a assistant cashier, after 20 years of service. She was very active in church activities, and also served in the Volunteer Auxiliary at Walls Regional hospital for 10 years.
Marguerite Elizabeth Young is survived by her sons, Clyde Wilbern Young of Cleburne and Joseph (Joby) Benjamin Young, Sr. and wife Shirley of Cleburne; grandchildren, Ben Young, Britt Heald and husband, Michael, Jenny Young; great-grandchildren, Ty, Chelsea, Mike, Madison and Jack and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Rose Dowdy; husband, Clyde W. Young on September 6, 1985.
