Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Service for Maria Del Refugio Cardona Huerta, 65, of Grandview, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 1, 2021 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Maria Huerta passed away, Tuesday, February, 23, 2021, in Fort Worth. She was born June 26, 1955 in Palestina, Coahuila, Mexico to Arturo and Maria Modesta Torres Cardona. Pallbearers will be Abel Ruiz, Ruben Freddy Camperos, Oliver Gonzalez, Eric Ramos, Ruben Huerta Jr., and Jorge Arredondo.

Maria is survived by her husband, Ruben; son, Sergio Arredondo; son, Jorge Arredondo and wife Dora; daughter, Amanda Gonzalez and husband Martin; daughter, Mirna Ruiz and husband Everardo; son, Ruben Huerta Jr.; 9 Grandchildren, Alex Martinez, Veronica Arredondo, Ruben Freddy Camperos, Natalie Gonzalez, Oliver Gonzalez, Abel Ruiz, Amaya Ruiz, Ava Ruiz, Caleb Thomson along with numerous other extended family and loving friends.

Maria loved to cook and was passionate about her plants. She was a faithful wife for many years and loved her family. She got much joy serving the kid’s lunch at Grandview Elementary. She was of Christian faith and very active in her church. She will be dearly missed.
