Service for Maria Villarreal Munguia, 81, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, Mar. 16, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Adam Villarreal will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Maria Villarreal Munguia passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born Feb. 10, 1935 in Hargill to Policarpio and Demetria Patino Villarreal. She married Benito Munguia on April 3, 1952 in Edinburg and he preceded her in death on June 4, 2010.
Mrs. Munguia was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to many. She also served as pastor of a church in Seminole, TX for many years. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her children, Ben Munguia and his family, Isabel Trevino, Joey and Melinda, Naomi Aguilar and husband Richard and children, Sylvia, Rocky, Roxanne and Jonathan, Maria Esther Gudino and husband Martin and children, Christy Ann, Bobby John, Ernest Lee, and Aaron Derick, Richard Munguia and Anna Smith and children, Adrian Lee, Jason Rene, Daniel Ray, Michael Vincent and Sarah Dawn, Romeo and Victoria Munguia and son Stephen Miguel, Roland and Naomi Munguia and children, Samantha Rae and Haylee Dionne, Ruben and Lisa Munguia and children, Christopher James, Ruben the Second and Lindsay, Josue and Sally Munguia and daughter, Dominique D’Ann; and a host of other family members, including beloved grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
