A gathering and visitation for Maria G. Flores Rubio, 75, of Cleburne, will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, February 6, 2022, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.

Maria passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, in Fort Worth. She was born October 19, 1946, in Alice, Texas to Edmond and Guadalupe (Jones) Flores. Maria worked as a custodian for Cleburne ISD with over 20 years of service. Maria loved laughter. She was a jokester, always keeping everyone on their toes. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, games, and gardening. Barbequing and fishing were also favorite pastimes of hers. Maria’s independent streak and strong will were evident in all she did. She will be missed greatly.

Maria is survived by her children, Angelita Solis, John Longoria and wife, Dana, Manuel Longoria and wife, Irma, Raymond Longoria and wife, Lisa, Adam Martinez and wife, Carolyn, Dianna Flores; grandchildren, Jeremy, Rocky, Kyle, John Eric, Robert, Pete, Cecily, Audrey, Ashton, Travis, Emma, Charles, Cadence; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Edmond Flores, Jr., and wife, Juanita, Luis Flores and wife, Elizabeth, Daniel Flores and wife, Kathleen, Angelita Hernandez and husband, Joe, Maria Gallardo and husband, Gilbert; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Joe Longoria; grandsons, Charles Alvin Longoria, and Paul Michael Solis; son-in-law, Paul Solis; siblings, Rudy Flores, Bobby Flores, George Flores, Sylvia Flores, and Esmeralda Rayna.
