Marianna Crouch

Service for Marianna Crouch, 95, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, January 30, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Jerry Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John Polson, Greg Williams, Jamey Smith, Eric Smith, Caleb Hollingshead, and Cody Phelps. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Marianna Crouch passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 in Cleburne. She was born August 17, 1918 in Quanah to Earl Colwell and Cynthia Poor Flynt. She married Loran Crouch on February 22, 1934 in Frederick, Okla. and he preceded her in death in 1980.

Mrs. Crouch was a homemaker and worked at the Hallmark Card Shop for 15 years. She was a long-time member of the Fort Worth Model A Club and the Home Demonstration Club. Mrs. Crouch was also a member of Westhill Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Polson of Denton and Lorna Smith and husband James E., II of Cleburne; seven grandchildren, Dee Pohlmann, Leah Phelps; John Polson, Greg Williams, Susan Hollingshead, James D. Smith, and Eric Smith; seven great grandchildren, Katie Adams, Cody Phelps, Christopher Polson, Riley Williams, Chase Williams, Harlan Smith and Reid Smith. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, J.C. Flynt, Jr. and John Lee Flynt.
