Marie Graves

Services for Marie Graves, 75, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Robert Graham will officiate. Pallbearers will be Rusty Booher, Robert Shaw, Barry Townsend, Ed Gordon, Marq Gordon, Scot Gordon and Bobby Self. Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Antrim and Mike Townsend.
Marie Graves passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 in Cleburne. She was born July 19, 1931 in Cleburne, Texas to John Thomas and Edie Irene Jones Gordon. She married Bobby Graves on June 24, 1949 in Cleburne.
Mrs. Graves worked as a teller for Cleburne National Bank, retiring after 27 years of service. She was a member of Field St. Baptist Church.
Marie Graves is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Graves of Cleburne and Tina Sawyers and husband Jimmie of Cleburne; son, Mike Graves of Cleburne; sister, Glenna Bradshaw and husband Wayne of Joshua; brothers, DeMarqus Gordon and wife Jeannie of Eastland, TX and Randy Gordon of Thakerville, OK; grandchildren, Jennifer Graves, Jared Graves, Brooklyn Graves, Colton Sawyers and Brooke Sawyers; great-grandchild, Emma Lynn Sawyers and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Graves on March 7, 1989.
