Marie Lambert

Service for Marie Lambert, 87, of Joshua will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 in the First United Methodist Church of Joshua. Pastor Dale Wilbanks will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Wayne Hunt, Jeff Hunt, Wade Hunt, Clint Hunt, Skeeter Brian, and David King. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Saturday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lambert passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 in Keene. She was born March 15, 1926 in the Sand Flat Community to Samuel Eugene and Mable Clara Stewart Hunt. She married A.J. Lambert on March 20, 1943 in Glen Rose and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2013.

Mrs. Lambert and her husband owned and operated Lambert Oil Company for 43 years before retiring in 2003. Marie was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Joshua.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Lambert; grandchildren, Jay Brian and his wife, Melissa, Angie Brian and Rebecca Carlock; great grandchildren, Matt, Jenna, Emma and Jaxson; brother, Wayne Hunt and his wife, Betty; sister-in-law, Ruth King; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
