Marie Looper

Service for Marie Looper, 72 of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009 in the North Cleburne Baptist Church. Brother Keith Whitt will officiate. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Looper passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born July 29, 1937 in Cleburne to Luther and Anna Margaret Hickey Moulder. She was a materials management specialist for the FAA until her retirement in 1990. After her retirement she worked as a Wal-Mart greeter for about 10 years. She was a member of North Cleburne Baptist Church and worked in the nursery for 10 years and worked in the church daycare until 2 months ago when she stayed home to take care of grandbabies until 6 weeks ago. Mrs. Looper loved animals and always took care of strays. She always put everyone ahead of herself especially her family even her pets. She was a very loving and giving Christian. She went garage selling every Saturday and then went to lunch. Her favorite time of year was Christmas.
Mrs. Looper is survived by her daughters, Sherrill Marshall and husband Mark and Kimberly McComb and husband Robert; grandchildren, Justin Marshall, Madison McComb, Delaney McComb; former husband, J.V. Looper and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Moulder.
