Marie Northup

Memorial service for Marie Ann Josephine Isakson Northup, 65, of Godley will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 25, 2012 in the Ascension Lutheran Church. The Reverend Joe Ardy will officiate.

Mrs. Northup passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 in Godley after a very brave and long battle with thyroid cancer. She was born March 25, 1947 in Fargo, ND to Arnold Edward and Gwendolyn Dagger Isakson. She married Raymond Northup on March 15, 1969 in S. San Francisco, Calif.

Marie was a registered nurse with 40 years of service. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Raymond Lee Northup; children, Rochelle Hebert, Laurie and Craig Castle, Sean Northup, and Lisa and Chris Jones; grandchildren, Jaimie and Cody Newton, Taylor Northup, Robert Castle, Andrew Jones, Nicholas Castle, Seth Northup, Kamryn Northup, and Sarah Grandstaff; siblings Corrine Bugle, Sharon and Don Hallam, Steve Isakson and Richard Isakson; nephews, Derrick and Shannon Grandstaff, Kenny Hallam, Paul Hallam and Steve Iaskson, Jr., dogs, Coco, Daxter, and Jack; granddog, Lexy; cat, Pearl, a lot of fish and her very loved chickens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Gwendolyn Isakson; and grandchildren, Jacob Hebert, Luke Hebert and Brianna Northup.
