Service for Marjorie Brown, 92, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Bruce Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9-10:00 A.M., Monday, in the chapel, prior to the service.
Marjorie Brown passed away Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 in Alvarado. She was born Nov. 7, 1924 in Cleburne to William Courtney and Marietta Huff Mason. She married Paul E. Brown on April 2, 1942 and he preceded her in death in 2005 after 63 years of marriage.
Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and a dear friend to many. She was a charter member of Granbury St. Church of Christ and a member of Whitney Church of Christ since 1970.
Survivors include her children, Paula Jones and husband Thomas G. of Cleburne and Michelle Brown of Dallas; grandson, Clint Davis and wife Heather of Cleburne; great grandchildren, Austin and Madelyn Davis; sister, Doris Conway of Cleburne; sister-in-law, Bonnie Brown of Whitney; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Brown; and sister, Louise Tucker.
