Mark A. Lancaster, 60, of Cleburne, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022, in Cleburne. He was born January 17, 1962, in Fort Worth. Mark married Melanie Burrow in Burleson on January 17, 2002. He was of the Methodist faith. Mark retired from the Explosive industry after 30 years of service with Goex Corporation, Halliburton and MCR Oil Tools. Mark was a man who loved to laugh and was a true jokester. He was big hearted and was giving to the extreme. Mark was known for his good fortune and luck, probably due to the level of giving to others, that he did. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed grilling outside with friends and family. Mark’s love of life and ability to make friends everywhere he went will be forever remembered.
Mark is survived by his wife, Melanie Burrow; son, Daniel Lancaster; grandsons, Benjamin Lancaster and Lucas Lancaster; siblings, David Virgil, Candace Savitz, Philip Virgil, Cindy Richards, and Laura Warren, his twin; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends, including his beloved dog, Lucy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane McClure; father, Don Lancaster; and brother, Donnie Lancaster.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
