Martha Gravitt

Service for Martha Nobles Gravitt, 92, of Clifton will be conducted at 11:00A.M., Thursday, April 18, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Kenny Rigoulot will officiate. Burial follow at 2:30 in the Whitney Memorial Cemetery in Whitney.

Martha Nobles Gravitt was born September 25, 1926 in Kopperl to Carl and Minnie Susie (Hendrix) Nobles. She married James Hampton Gravitt on September 18, 1944 in Meridian. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1991. Martha was a mail clerk for Robert Schuller Ministries, a member of Nolan River Road Baptist Church and a Pink Lady for Walls Regional Hospital. She loved country dancing and playing bingo.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Sherry Williams and husband Tom of Meridian; sons James P. Gravitt and wife Sandi of Prescott, AZ, Ronald C. Gravitt and wife Debbie of Cleburne; grandchildren, Mark Williams and wife Sheri, Lance Williams and wife Rachel, Krystal Minette and husband Louis, Ronnie Gravitt, Rebecca Heitzman, Isaac Gravitt, Gracie Gravitt, Paul Edwards, Mary Mejia and husband Albert, Joseph Falaniko; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; sister, Nadine Graham of Burleson and sister-in-law Shirley Nobles of Midlothian.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn Falaniko, sister Verda Massey and brother Arlene “Ollie” Nobles
