Martha Hill

Services for Martha Ruth Hill, 90, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Friday, Nov. 12, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in the Greenacres Memorial Park. Mr. BB Stevens will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Thursday. Pallbearers will be Jeff Hill, Joey Dillard, Andy Dillard, Danny Dillard, Lawson Hill. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Cannon, Dillard Crook and Jimmy Crook.
Mrs. Hill passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010 in Cleburne. She was born Dec. 7, 1919 in Godley to Robert Farris and Mattie Lee Green Alfrey. She married Oscar Doyle Hill on Jan. 1, 1938 in Cleburne. He preceded her in death in 1993. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Westhill Church Of Christ and was a bookkeeper of Cleburne Electric for 31 years.
Martha Ruth Hill is survived by her sons, Darrell Wayne Hill and wife Susan of Hurst and Charles Lynn Hill and wife Cathy of Ft. Worth; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Marilyn Prater, son in law, Gary Prater and brother H.F. Alfrey.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
