Martha Pou-Thompson

Martha Jeanette Pou-Thompson, 90, of Ft. Worth passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in Ft. Worth.
Graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 26, 2014 in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Barry Bailey will officiate.

Martha Jeanette Pou-Thompson was born January 17, 1924 in Cleburne to William M. and Eudora Hoffman. She graduated from Cleburne High School and attended the University of Texas and Texas Christian University. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Ft. Worth.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and William Hoffman; husbands, Wallace G. Pou Sr. in 1980 and Gen. D. A. Thompson in November of 1992; and a son, Wallace G. Pou Jr.

Survivors include her sons, Ned H. Pou, and William M. Pou, both of Ft. Worth; and a host of family and adoring friends.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the caring staff of Autumn Leaves Memory Care Center of Ft. Worth and the staff of Vitas Hospice.
