Martha Shivers

Graveside service for Martha Shivers, 89, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 in the Rio Vista Cemetery. The Reverend Eddie Freeman will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
Martha Shivers passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 in Keene. She was born Jan. 27, 1926 in Bosque County to Johnny Clifford and Altha Cumins Etchison. She married William Lindsey Shivers on October 30, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1984.
Mrs. Shivers was a homemaker and a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her sisters, Pauline Braswell of Keene, Pearl Hardin of Kopperl, and Ona Todd of Kopperl; brother, L.T. Etchison of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
