Graveside service for Martin “Cowboy” Bellah, 76, longtime resident of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Rosehill Cemetery. Pastor Mike Mizell and Pastor Brent Shields will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Martin “Cowboy” Bellah passed away Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 in Ft. Worth. He was born
Dec. 11, 1941 to Vernon Irvin and Sarah Anna Teague Bellah.
Mr. Bellah worked in manufacturing until retiring. He was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Jane Bellah Baxter and husband Sam of Alvarado; brothers, Bobby Joe Bellah and Kenneth Wayne Bellah and wife Debra E., all of Cleburne; adopted grandchildren, Shelly Votaw, Archie and Chad Followill and Ryan Velarde; nephews, Sam, Jr. , Ronnie, Brian and Ricky Baxter; and many more relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clinton Earl Bellah and Vernon Howard Bellah; and one sister, Victoria Maybell Bellah.
