Mr. Smith passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2005 in Fort Worth. He was born June 6, 1944 in Cleburne, Texas, to Gerome Jefferson and Willie Lavern Motes Smith. He married Charlotte Meals on May 17, 1963 in Cleburne.
Mr. Smith was a manufacturer liaison planner for Lockheed Martin and was of the Methodist faith.
Martin K. Smith,Sr. is survived by his wife Charlotte Smith of Fort Worth; son, Martin K. Smith, Jr. of Ft. Worth; daughter, Cindy Roberts and husband Don of Ft. Worth; granddaughter, Summer Smith; brother Robert Smith and wife Edith of Burleson; and a number of nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, G.J. and Laverne Smith; and brother, Stephen Smith.
