Service for Marvin W. "Buzz" McClanahan will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Don Shipman will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Marvin W. "Buzz" McClanahan passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 in Cleburne. He was born June 4, 1933 in Rio Vista to Samuel Gilford and Mary Emily Adcock McClanahan. He married Barbara Kay Lewis and she preceded him in death on Jan. 28, 2008.

Mr. McClanahan worked as an electric motor technician. Buzz was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 315 in Cleburne.

Survivors include his two sons, David McClanahan of Cleburne and Steven McClanahan and wife Tracie of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Shawna, Elizabeth, Steven, and Timothy McClanahan; and one brother, Morris McClanahan and wife Marion. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
