Graveside services for Mary Ruth Ballard, 84, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 30, 2011 in the Bono Cemetery. Dennis Henson and Leslie Greenwood will officiate.
Mary Ruth Ballard passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in Fort Worth. She was born August 9, 1926 in Valliant, Oklahoma. She married Norman Neely Ballard at the age of 19. She was a member of Marystown Baptist Church. Mary Ruth was a happy, Christian lady who enjoyed gardening, cooking and taking care of her loved ones. She was proud to be a mother. Mary Ruth will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Henry Henson and Lou Judy Traffansted Henson Lewellen; husband, Norman Neely Ballard, Sr., and siblings, Ethel Henson, James Robert Henson, Henry Edward Henson, Walter Henson, Ruby Greenwood Fritz, William David Henson, and Bobby Ray Henson.
Survivors include her son, Norman Neely Ballard, Jr.; brother, Charlie John Henson; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
