Service for Mary Ruby Clark, 95, of Burleson will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-6 P.M., Saturday at the funeral home.
Mary Ruby Coomer Clark passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at her home in Burleson. She was born June 9, 1917 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to Marcellus and Minnie Stinson Coomer.
Mary Ruby married Jackson B. Clark on Aug. 6, 1936 in Cleburne. Together they had eight children, 37, grandchildren, 90 great grandchildren and over 30 great-great grandchildren.
Mary Ruby was a hard worker who enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening. She was of the Pentecostal faith and loved reading her Bible. She was a dedicated Christian who loved God and based her life around him. Her loving nature and kind spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include one son, J.B. (Donald) Clark of Glen Rose; four daughters, Raynell Batchelor and husband Jerry of Irving, Doris Mullins and husband David of Grandview, Billie Batchelor and husband Chester of Burleson and Geneva Wallace of Burleson; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jackson B. Clark; sons, Edward and Wayne Clark; daughter, Naomi Hanson; three brothers and three sisters.
