MARY ELIZABETH GRISSOM

Graveside services for Mary Elizabeth Grissom, 86, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 30, 2014 in Oakwood Cemetery, Waco.

Mrs. Grissom passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 n Cleburne. She was born to Soloman Andrew and Juanita Richmond Sims on August 20, 1927 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She married Henry A. “Hank” Grissom. Mary was self-employed in the furniture retail sale business for a number of years. She was of the Baptist faith. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Ricky Duckett; and sister, Priscilla Veach.

Survivors include her sons, Danny Duckett of Houston and Gary Duckett of Cleburne; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Michael Sims of Conroe and Carroll Sims of Fredricksburg; sister, Dorothy Brown McElhaney of Tyler; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
