Mary Hardcastle

Service for Mary Ann Griffith Hardcastle, 87, of Granbury, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Keith S. Hardcastle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Godley Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Keith Hardcastle, Jason Hardcastle, Ransom Mlcak, Carey Earle, Mark Hardcastle and Glen Hardcastle.

Mary Ann Griffith Hardcastle died Saturday, November 2, 2019 in Granbury. She was born February, 26, 1932 in Mansfield, Texas to Martin I. and Margie O. (Stewart) Griffith. She was a 1949 graduate of Godley High School. Mary married Harold Gwynne Hardcastle on September 4, 1949 in Godley. She was an Administrative Secretary for over twenty-five years at Howard Payne University and was of the Baptist faith.

Mary is survived by her sons, Keith S.Hardcastle and wife Dianne of League City, Mark Hardcastle and wife Joelle of Greensboro, North Carolina; daughters, Carol G. Hardcastle of DeCordova Bend Estates and Mary Kay Hardcastle of Chicago; grandchildren, Jason, Paige, Ashley, Brianna and Jackson; great grandchildren, Hayden, Holdyn, Riley and Phenix.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold on April 23, 2014 and brother Kenneth Griffith.

Our family wishes to express our heartfelt appreciation for the kindness and excellent care shown to our loved one by the staff at Bridgewater Memory Care, whom lovingly referred to her as Nana.
