Mary Leifeste

Services for Mary Ann Leifeste, 96, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Westhill Church of Christ in Cleburne with Mr. John Ainsworth officiating. Committal at 3:00 P.M., in Doty Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Eddie Leifeste, Michael Leifeste, Lee Leifeste, Jeremy Johnson, Todd Tucker, and Patrick Darby.

Mrs. Leifeste passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in Glen Rose. She was born May 6, 1927 in Mingus, Texas to Clarence and Virgie Mae (Jordan) Minnick. Mary married Lee Roy Leifeste, Jr., on February 27, 1953 in Fort Worth. She was self-employed, owning Shaklee Distribution.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Leifeste of Nacogdoches, Lee Roy Leifeste, III and wife, Terri of Cleburne, and Robert Devin Leifeste also of Cleburne; daughters, Olivia Darby and Nevylen Tucker both of Cleburne; grandchildren, Dorey, Tiffany, Patrick, Nevylen, Lee, Jacquelyn, Eddie, Michael Gene, Todd, Tara, and Chad; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Leifeste was preceded in death by her husband, who passed on May 21, 2020; daughter-in-law, Sheila Leifeste; son-in-law, Gary Darby; 2 brothers; 4 sisters which includes Virginia Lewis
