Mary Marchman

Graveside service for Mary Ann Marchman, 90, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011 in Bono Cemetery. Pastor Farris Whitehead will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Marchman passed away Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 in Ft. Worth. She was born Oct. 31, 1921 in Bono to Babe Oliver and Bertha Maude White Horton.

Mrs. Marchman was a retail sales rep. for Kay Wolens Department Store and JC Penney Department Store. She had a feisty, yet friendly and outgoing personality who never met a stranger. She was very family oriented and loved to cook. She often sang and hummed tunes. She was a member of the Eastern Heights Church.

Survivors include her children, Jack Allen and wife Donna, Roy Marchman and wife Kathy and Martha Marchman; grandchildren, Paul and Cindy Allen, Jeff and Taiya Allen, Brent and Katrina Marchman, Jennifer Slay, Bryan Marchman, Brandon Marchman and Stephanie and Jared Gee; 16 great grandchildren; siblings, Evageline Sue Nuckols and Gene Horton and wife JoAnn; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, George W. Allen, Sr. "Jack" in 1944 and LeRoy Clarence Marchman in 1997; five brothers and two sisters.
