Service for Mary Frances Bankston McClain, 76, Glen Rose, will be conducted at, 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 22, 2021 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow at Pecan Cemetery in Dublin. Visitation 6-8:00 P.M. Sunday, February 21 at the funeral home.

Mary passed away Monday February 8, 2021 in Glen Rose. She was born February 13, 1944 in Hammond, Louisiana to Blair and Lillian (Herbig) Bankston. She married Merrill McClain on February 17, 1962 in Cleburne. Mary loved people and especially adored her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Mary never met a stranger and was a joy to be around. She also loved her animals. She will be dearly missed.

Mary is survived by her husband, Merrill McClain of Stephenville; children, Ronnie McCLain and wife Shrree of Dublin, Lynn Meador and husband Lonny of Joshua, Rodney McClain of Houston; grandchildren, Stephanie Croft and husband Davin of White Settlement, Jeramy Floyd and wife Tiffany of Joshua, Michael Sisney of Dublin, Amanda McClain of Dublin, Lorie Hopper of Keene; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Don Bankston; sister, Marcia Pacheco - Lofton and numerous other extended family and loving friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Blair and Lillian Bankston; granddaughter Jai-mee Williams and brother Gary Bankston.
