Service for Mary Ellen Montanez, 71, of Joshua, will be conducted 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 19, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7:00 P.M. Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the funeral home.

Mary Ellen Montanez passed away August 14, 2019 in Fort Worth. She was born July 31, 1948 in Cleburne to Garland Bruce and Claudia Mae (Young) Kyle. She married Robert Montanez on May 3, 1969 in Rendon. She was an office manager in radio broadcasting for M & M Broadcasting.

Mary is survived by her husband, Robert Montanez; sons, Jason Montanez; daughter Nicole (Mike) D’Andria; grandchildren Bailey, Lane, Chloe; brothers, Charles (Ruby) Kyle, Don Kyle; sister Alma (Clement) Gorden, Bunny (Jim) Ragland, Gayle Lilly, Linda Livingston; brother-in-law Kenneth Dunson, and numerous additional loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by: sisters, Betty Dunson, Diane Smelley; brothers-in-law Clinton Lilly, Vic Livingston, Ben Smelley; niece Marla Lilly; nephew Shawn Smelley; great-nephew Benjamin Brown and her parents.
