Mary Catherine Norwood passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born December 17, 1925 in Cooleyville, Arkansas to James Tribble and Willie Belle (Daniel) Dotson. Mary married Tracy Bernard Norwood, Jr. on December 4, 1945 in Nashville, Arkansas.
She was a college professor at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Mary was a member of Field Street Baptist Church. Mary was very active in her church, loved to walk and play golf.
Mary is survived by her son, Tracy Norwood; grandsons, James Tracy Norwood and wife Amanda, Taylor Charles Norwood and wife Julie, Wiley Robert Norwood and wife Amber and 5 great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Oras, Coy and James, sister Mildred, and great grandson Owen Thomas Norwood.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Northeastern State Scholarship Fund , Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
