Service for Mary Janet Brock Russell, 84, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Earl Whitehead will officiate. Burial will be in Georges Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Campbell, Clint Nickell, Rex Hudgins, J. Hungerford, Krishna Sheplear, and Sam Bigham. Honorary pallbearer will be Sam White and Jimmy Stanley. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Mary Jane Brock Russell passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 in Cleburne. She was born Jan. 7, 1931 in Ozona to Albert and Ura Dove Elkins Brock. She married Charles F. Russell on July 29, 1949 in Cleburne.
Mrs. Russell was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grand-and great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to many. She was of the Christian faith. Mary will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Charles Russell of Cleburne; son, Dale Russell and wife Karen; grandchildren, Emily, Corey, and Courtney; great grandchildren, Hailey, Breonna, William, and Cora; brother, Albert Lee (Buzz) Brock of Henrietta; nephew, Justin Campbell; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Gail Brock Campbell.
