Service for Mary Spencer, 92, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Inurnment will be at a later date in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday.
Mary Spencer passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 in Cleburne. She was born Aug. 31, 1924 in Tracy, MN to Ben and Edith Nyhus.
Mrs. Spencer worked as a teacher’s aide and was a loving mother, sister, and a dear friend to many. She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her sons, Herbert Knight of Cleburne and Gregory Alan Knight of Birmingham, AL; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wesley David Spencer; and brother, Lee Nyhus.
