Mary Styne

Service for Mary Ellen Styne, 70, of Grandview will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Joe Ardy will officiate. Committal will follow at 2:30 P.M., in the DFW National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Styne passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in Ft. Worth. She was born Oct. 26, 1941 in Wilmington, NC to Rudolph and Mary Stanley Halverson. She married Henry Edmond Styne on Sept. 22, 1967 in Arlington. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Debbie Harlan and husband Rod of Moberly, MO, Tony Taylor of Ft. Worth, Denise Hernandez of Arlington, Joe Styne and wife Van of Arlington, Eric Styne and wife Karie of Arlington, Christine Hughes and husband William of Burleson, Richard Styne and wife Carolyn of Cedar Hill, Michael Styne and wife Lynett of Dumas and Kenneth Styne and wife Lynn of Bedford; 20 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Bennett of Ft. Worth and Karen Vance of Clarksburg, W. VA; and numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Hank Styne on March 9, 2011.
