Services for Mary Lou Weaver, 93, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Larry Chambless, Rev. Chuck Barnard and Rev. Scott Whitson will officiate. Burial will be in Rough Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dwain Faught, Thomas Faught, Joe Hughes, Brian Jackson, Wiley Perry and Larry Mask. Honorary pallbearers will be PeeWee Kilcrease and Bill Sexton.
Mary Lou Weaver passed away Monday, September 3, 2007 in Grandview. She was born August 30, 1914 in Erath County, Texas to William Walter and Mary Ellen Smith Perry. She married Odis Weaver July 19, 1936 in Hood County, TX. Mrs. Weaver was a pastor's wife for 55 years of their marriage, she also retired as a elevator operator for Monings Department Store. She was a member of Greenbrier Baptist Church in Alvarado.
Mary Lou Weaver is survived by her daughter, Lou Faught and husband Dwain of Cleburne; one brother, Joseph Walter Perry and wife Lana of Dallas; 3 grandchildren, Thomas Faught of San Antonio, Patricia Coppock of Glen Rose and Cindy Hughes of Grandview; 9 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Janie, Kate, Tracey, Ben, Lacy, Seth, Caleb and Matti; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Odis Weaver on November 5, 1991; grandson, Ricky Reasoner on February 10, 1983; four brothers, Buck Perry, Birl Perry, Trafford Perry and Duward Perry; and one sister, Pearl Stroud.
