Maudie Brand

Maudie Fay Brand passed away quietly April 14. 2021.
Maudie was born in Leon Co. Texas September 12, 1935. Her parents were Bert and Alberta May. They moved to Johnson County in 1941 where she attended Godley school.

She married David G. Brand on March 20, 1948. They had 4 children.

Maudie is preceded in death by her parents Bert and Alberta May, her husband David and grandson, Randy Brand. She is survived by her children, Judy Sisson and husband Wayne, Glenn Brand and wife Patricia, Arlene Sears and husband Jackie, Roy Brand and sister Mary Prescher

She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and host of other family and friends.

She has been a member of Lebanon Baptist Church for 79 years where she was a Sunday School teacher and vacation bible school teacher.


Service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 19, 2021 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-4:00 P.M., Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Melvin Brand, Keith Prescher, Darrell Prescher, Ricky Prescher, Richard Prescher and Steven Matthews. Honorary pallbearers will be Alvin Brand, Tom and Tim Brand.
