Maudine Collins

Service for Maudine Collins, 87, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 21, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Brooks Monk will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Maudine Collins passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born June 21, 1928 in Hood County to Lee and Nettie Strickland Gregory. She married Eldon Earl Collins on Sept. 1, 1962 in Dennison.

Mrs. Collins worked as a real estate broker for more than 25 years before retiring. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Eldon Collins of Cleburne; three children, Tommy Millsap of Joshua, Brenda Benson of Cleburne, and June O’Neal and husband Glenn of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Christopher Millsap and Nettie Lea Millsap; one great granddaughter, Shelby Millsap; sister, Mary Ruth Calvert and husband Pete of Grandview; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Pearline Basey and Jackie McLaughlin.
