Maurice H. Alexander passed away Friday, July 8, 2005 in Ft. Worth. He was born August 27, 1924 in Meridian, Tx., to Frank and Effie Belle Alexander. He married Bobbie Lou Watson on January 1, 1949 in Cleburne.
Mr. Alexander was a retired power house engineer who worked for Santa Fe Railroad in Cleburne for 40 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and participated in the Battle of the Bulge during WWII, where he received four battle stars. He was a good husband and father and was loving and kind. He loved people, animals, working in his flowers and fishing. He was a member of Henderson St. Baptist Church and Cleburne Masonic Lodge #315.
Maurice H. Alexander is survived by his wife, Bobbie Lou Alexander of Cleburne; son, Larry Maurice Alexander and wife Linda of Cleburne; daughter, Juliana Blythe and husband Bob of Cleburne; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruby Byers; two brothers, Donald and R. L. Alexander.
